Scienide is a Silicon Graphics (SGI) Origin 200 Dual Tower 64-bit system with four 270 MHx R12000 CPUs and 4 Gb of RAM. While purchased in 1999, it remains a central file and mail server for the theoretical chemistry community and a number of researcher groups on campus.

Application programs for chemical physics and biochemical calculations such as Gaussian03, GaussView, Molpro, Molscat and Gromacs were installed on Scienide. Documentations can be found from this link.
